The Jamerican Diner in Syracuse

I got Jerk Chicken. Came w/rice, cabbage and some kind of sweet bread. I don't even eat bread much any more. Gluten sensitive. But I bit this stuff just to taste. ATE IT! ... (If I get a stomach ache it's my own fault). Nice folks, great food...pay/park on the street if you can, or make a deal with the private lot attendent (if you can). It is a very casual diner/dining experience - understand that going in. But two can eat and drink for < $25! And it's real good Jamiacan cuisine. 👍👍....

You can tell from the aroma of Caribbean food when you walk that you’ll get a good meal. The ox tails were delicious. Great local business to support.

A hole in the wall with delicious good food in large servings. Friendly staff. Get the oxtails with rice and beans. All the plates also have a generous serving of cabbage. They also have desert for a dollar or two. A definite comfort food spot.

My wife and I ordered the curry goat and jerk chicken and the food was extremely tasty with good sized portions. Seemed very authentic with the flavor and ingredients. Kind of a weird atmosphere walking in does not seem like the most welcoming place and they serve their food in to go containers. So we went home to eat it. Food was delicious.
